Deleting your data
How to revoke the Insito Studio application’s access, and how to have anything already stored removed.
The quick version
You can revoke the Insito Studio application's access to your Facebook Page or Instagram account yourself, at any time, without asking me. Doing so stops all access immediately.
Revoke access
- Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Go to Apps and Websites (under Security, or under Business Integrations for a Page)
- Find Insito Studio and choose Remove
From that moment the application can no longer publish, read comments, or read performance data for your accounts.
Delete what has already been stored
Revoking access stops anything further, but it does not by itself erase what was stored while the connection was live. To have that removed, email [email protected] from an address associated with the account, or with enough detail for me to identify it, and say you want your data deleted.
What gets deleted: the stored access token, the account identifiers, the record of posts published through the system, and any comments retrieved from your posts.
I will confirm by reply when it is done, within 30 days and usually the same week.
What cannot be deleted this way
Posts already published to your Page or Instagram account belong to that account, not to me. They stay until you delete them there, which you can do at any time. The same applies to comment replies already posted.
